Stelmachowich to compete in W.C. Softball Championships

Melville’s Tori Stelmachowich has been picked up by the Regina Revenge to play in the Western Canadian Bantam Softball Championships in the Queen City from July 31 to Aug. 2. Stelmachowich was a pitcher/shortstop with the Wapella Southeast Wolfpack in Provincials competition.

A Melville fastball pitcher will have the opportunity to compete for a Western Canadian Softball Bantam Under-16 Championship, even though her usual team didn’t qualify. Tori Stelmachowich, a 14-year-old pitcher/shortstop, who played in softball Provincials with the Wapella Southeast Wolfpack was heartbroken when her season ended with a loss to Unity, but it wasn’t long before another team came calling.
